The direction of thought in search of knowledge
I would start with a question, Is it possible to act, live, feel, etc.. without being conscious of what we are doing? Certainly sounds tantalizing, but we have answers for all things in life, as some others we learn and we are going to build ourselves based on our experience and that of others, to develop a conscience or our own thought.
And what comes next when we are holders of thought? Well this is the starting point to form a series of coherent sets of ideas or other ideas more widespread, broad, abstract, and so on. with all that I want to allude to concepts, which in part are the ones that allow us to establish principles, norms, standards, paradigms, values ...
I've already talked about the path that follows the thought, but why put much emphasis on this word? Surely be asking. As is well known the long thought was sound, and sound words and the words became graphic signs, which can all understand when we communicate and thus turn it into a dialogue.
Hence the importance, each of us translate our ideas, experiences, emotions and more, in words and signs to develop later in a message, receive and understand others, but does not lie only at this point to its importance and I would say that his priority is to translate into words the experience we gained as we live and thus form concepts, models, theories, laws and all kinds of ways of thinking that allow us to get to know the truth.
Is it so important to have a theory of knowledge? Note that this term is composed from the Greek gnosis (knowledge) and logos (discourse, study), which in a nutshell is what helps us to know the things of reality and how to guide the thinking in search of knowledge and the truth.
Now that I've mentioned a key word, which is closely related to the essence of knowledge, I mean the truth.
The truth is a relational concept, to explain better: it is a relationship between the content of thought with the object. But certainly that is true knowledge is not enough, we need to be sure is true with the help of the criteria of truth. All these questions lead us to the problem of the origin of knowledge, as it pauses to consider the relationship between subject and object.
Do not forget the main issue; In what way can we be certain that our knowledge is true?
I think the judgments involved, as a trial for the same thing is true when it is formed according to the laws and rules of thought.
Therefore the knowledge of truth lies in the proper development (subject to the laws) of the object, what I mean is that thought must necessarily agree with their own laws.
I'll talk more about this relationship I have previously established agreement.
Our thinking is consistent with itself when it is free of contradictions And what would happen if we adopt an idealist position? We will definitely lead to a lack of contradiction, as a way of using the criteria of truth, but in this case would not apply to general or worldwide.
From my point of view, this opinion is true when it is formed according to the laws and rules of thought, which is evidenced by the absence of contradiction.
Therefore I mention something that I think accurately, if all scientific knowledge has universal validity, then it is correct to identify the scientific knowledge is universally valid knowledge.
It seems too much theory for me to explain the objective meaning of human thought and its relationship with objects, but in reality all this forms but a small part to reach the goal I set out, as my efforts have been aimed at deepening and human knowledge base.
Right now I am totally convinced that the knowledge is not limited to the world of phenomena, but moves beyond, to a philosophical view of the universe. Philosophical say that it serves that philosophy is understood as love of wisdom, that is, willingness to learn, desire for knowledge, clear that the word philosophy is too broad and general and hence to extract essential definition , but for our purposes I find it very convenient to keep in our thoughts. Philosophy is then; theory of scientific knowledge, as a reflection of the behavior to what we call values in order to have a way to reach a conception of the universe.
And to end I can say that what we guarantee that our knowledge is true is not the experience of a rational, intellectual, immediate vision that gives us the object, but of our inner intuition of their origin.
