eBay Buyer Rights - Online Auctions
If you decide to buy something on eBay, you are required to pay before anything is sent to you. As a purchaser who are exposed to a variety of problems. It 's possible you will not get paid for the items, or may be defective or damaged. Fortunately for you, there are two important rights of eBay buyer.
Number 1 - The right to obtain an object
The item you buy could get lost in the mail or the seller alone will never have it sent. Whatever the reason, you have paid for the product. If the mail does not arrive, as they said they would, you have every right to a replacement or refund, even if it is not the fault of the seller.
Just because you chose to buy an item from eBay do not mean that they have the same rights as you would if you purchased from a store. Moreover, according to eBay policy, as a seller you are not allowed to change their mind and decide not to sell the item. As soon as the auction is over, both the buyer and seller are then under contract to be followed to the end or face eBay's penalties.
Number 2 - The right to receive your item as described in auction
Occasionally vendors to write misleading descriptions, neglecting to include these details on an item that would otherwise cause to think twice before you buy. Sometimes the seller is not careful enough about wrap objects correctly, and may break. If something similar happens to you, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.
How to use my rights as a buyer of eBay
The first thing to do is communicate with the seller. Most will respond in kind, they do not want their reputation to be damaged, as you may leave a negative feedback and other prospective buyers would take note of this. If you go to the source does not work, report them to eBay.
Do not be too fast
Try not to get too annoyed and unfair to the seller. I have experienced situations where the seller has agreed to give me a refund for an item that was never delivered and then we discovered that he was detained at the post office! Do the best you can to communicate and think about what could go wrong.
Ebay is a great place to shop when buyers and sellers can sort through their problems and avoid getting involved in eBay .......
