RSS Explained Simply
When I asked the opinion of what people wanted to know about blogs and blogging, many of them wanted to know RSS. The main question being what is RSS? So here is an explanation of those who do not know: RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, is easily recognizable by the orange square icon at the top of most blog sidebars.
It 's like a subscription service, allowing followers to receive any new material you have written as soon as published. It saves time and makes it easy for you to keep up with something new, without having to search all your favorite blogs for that. Think about how to subscribe to a magazine: the new post (or message) is delivered to you directly, or via e-mail in your in-box, or readers of the search engines if you subscribed via this method. A reader provides search engine pages with links to the post as soon as available, or individual cookies' on our homepage search engine that lists the last posts of this blog through three main connections. Besides allowing your followers to keep track of your new material, RSS has other uses, mainly through social media.
When you publish a new blog post, can be 'fed' into your social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter. This means that each new message automatically appears as a link in these sites. The RSS feed has new content in this format for your followers to read. In the Facebook post is published in the pages of notes, and your home page or status page shows the link title (known as a permalink), with perhaps the first lines of the post as a taster. Twitter in your post is listed as the title and the first words, followed by a tinyurl (or link) for current blog post. As a message to Twitter using only 140 characters, there will be room for all the permalink, then uses various methods to shorten it.
RSS is important if you want to increase your readers and encourage greater interest from search engines. This is a piece of software that encourages search engine spiders to follow your blog, and it automatically spreads your news around the web. Without it, your blog seems lifeless as only those who are invited have the opportunity to read it, and only if they bothered to visit him regularly. RSS provides the messages automatically without effort, saves time and encourages new audiences, especially through social media .......
