How to build profitable Mini Sites To Sell eBooks, software or physical assets

Mini sites are extremely powerful sales tools to promote and sell products be it digital like ebooks and software or physical goods like hardcover books. Mini sites are usually comprises several pages 5-10 and its main purpose is to make a sale. Compared to a content site that may contain hundreds or even thousands of pages, mini-sites that do not need many pages, because otherwise that discourage its primary objective which is to get a sale.

When building a mini site, there are some basic factors to consider in order to make it profitable. I'm not talking about the processing of a powerful sales letter here is of course important, but I'm focusing appearance design. How to build your own mini site can have an effect on sales. Visitors to your website are in a hurry and it is up to you to control where you want to lead them to your website. You can easily lose a visitor simply going over to another site or page, or you can keep them on your site longer and therefore increase your chances of making a sale.

But how can you make them stay longer and do not lose them too soon? The answer is in your navigation menu. Do not forget you have other pages on your website that may contain some content here and there and people are usually distracted by links. Your goal is to make them as free from distractions as possible and get them to read your sales page ultimately leading to the order page. You have several ways to place your navigation menu to your web site. You can move it up, down, left or right.

For myself, I have seen that it is better to put the navigation menu at the bottom because this is the last thing visitors will see the site. They could have already clicked the order button, so did not see your menu. The purpose of this method is not to hide your menu because it is visible, but rather to concentrate on selling, instead of encouraging people to click on your links and pages.

Another crucial aspect in building a profitable mini site is to exaggerate the number of pages that is usually 5-10. I discovered that by adding more pages and content in the form of useful articles, more or less tied to the theme of your site, build a more valuable site which is more likely to have repeat visitors and also at the same time increasing value in search engines, and better rankings. Search engines love content and if you can give them this, you will be duly rewarded.

Do you think you can build a mini site with 30-50 pages? Why not. Here I will instead call a super mini site that has the characteristics of a mini site and that of a content site, but whose main purpose is always the same ie to make the sale. Of course, you may lose some visitors to your pages and others, probably, some external links, but think of other rewards, such as frequent visitors and the search engine traffic.

Sure, you can build a simple mini site pages as little as possible to distract the visitors, but it depends on your methods of traffic generation. If you create this type of mini site, you probably focus on pay per click advertising because that site is unlikely to get high rankings in search engines. Usually, it is recommended to drive traffic pay per click to a destination page like a little mini site because you do not want to lose that visitor quickly due to the fact that you are paying. Otherwise, if you want to get some search engine traffic and probably some regular visitors, you might want to focus on a super mini site.

Mini sites are responsible for selling thousands of dollars worth of products because they work. And depending on how they generate traffic, you might want to think well before you plan your mini site, because it can have a positive or negative effect on your efforts. For example, can have a negative effect if we consider the construction of a small mini site and hoping to get traffic or search engine on the other hand, a super-mini and site planning to generate traffic pay-per-click to it.

To your success! ......
