How to uninstall McAfee Security Center

The first step to uninstall McAfee Security Center, as with just about any other program, should be the Windows Control Panel in Add / Remove Programs (or Programs and Features if you use Windows 7 or Vista). Locate the application list Add / Remove Programs and select the remove option. Follow the onscreen instructions and make sure to place a checkmark next to each program on McAfee when prompted. If all goes well, McAfee Security Center should be removed after you restart the computer.

However, this is not quite the end of the road. First, remove all remaining program folders from the hard disk. Delete all folders with the name McAfee and McAfee.com, which most likely is located in the Program Files and Documents and Settings / All Users / Application Data folder. Finally, remove all the registry settings of McAfee using the registry editor. Search and delete every instance of "McAfee" is located. Be very careful when editing the registry, incorrect settings may cause system errors important.

Unfortunately, if the McAfee uninstaller becomes damaged or not working (errors) for some reason, you must manually uninstall McAfee Security Center completely, which can be a daunting task and is beyond the scope of this article.

Much easier option is to contact a third-party program uninstaller. Perfect Uninstaller is one of the best programs available because of its strength Uninstall ways to deal with corrupt programs that can not be uninstalled using the normal channels. If you are unfamiliar with the practices, such as changing the registry and unregistering DLLs, so a good uninstaller program like Perfect Uninstaller is the best way to "manually" uninstall McAfee Security Center .......
