Need more traffic? Optimize your website! (Part IV)
There is one final step required to move your website into high gear. This step is easy and difficult to implement. How is that for ambiguity? This technique is called link.
In this case, the connection is when a site connects through a hyperlink to another website.
Search engines like Google use the number of inbound links to your web site to judge how important it might be to researchers. Links from websites that have a page rank higher your site will benefit the most.
During the connection, you should find links that will compliment the content. Arabian horses on our site, you can get links from a website that sells saddles or veterinary services.
You could get a link from an online gambling service, but actually develop the theme of your website and credibility?
Everything the customer sees should support your objective. No matter if your site is a commercial site or a site of public service.
You've spent a lot of time and effort to establish the quality of your website and your level of experience. It would be a pity to jeopardize it. Presenting a professional and consistent message is essential to the success of your website.
The various search engines to reason that if you have many inbound links, then it must be a resource for other Web sites.
This will increase your ranking on search engines.
If you publish articles to the sites of presentation we have discussed in Part 3, you will start to get the benefit of incoming links, as they are collected and published in other websites and ezines.

The mechanics of implementation of the processes we have discussed are beyond the scope of an article. Many good books are available to show how to modify the technical aspects of your website or you can hire a consultant to manage everything for you.
If you do hire someone, rather than understand a website is not necessarily an effective website. Keep it simple, keep it effective and close the sale. Let the big corporations keep striking flash presentations and watch your web site into a profit center for you and your family.
