For those who have never used the Internet as a tool to advertise their products or services, pay per click advertising may seem very complicated. In fact, once you understand the basics, PPC advertising is actually quite simple. Try a Google search for anything. In most cases if you look at the links on the right for a particular topic you will pay per click ads. When you click on one of those ads someone is paying for the opportunity of interest in their product or service. MLM pay per click ads and are becoming increasingly prevalent. Fear not, though. There are millions of people surfing the net on a given day. More than enough for everyone to succeed.
How do you start a pay per click ads? The first thing to do is go to Google AdWords and create an account. Google requires you to set a credit card on an account so that every month Google has a way of being paid for these ads. It only takes a few minutes to set up the account.
Easily the most important aspect of your Google ads is the chosen keyword. A keyword is the word or phrase that a customer is looking perspective on the Internet to obtain information about a particular subject. For example, someone looking for a widget. The term "widget" optimally should appear in the title and body of the advertisement by Google to recognize the ad as something that will list when the "widget" search term.
How much should you pay for each click? This depends on several things. The most widely used over the keyword Google will charge for its use. Moreover, the higher up the page your ad appears will cost more. I paid a minimum of 5 cents per click up to about 50 cents per click. I know others who can spend 1-2 dollars per click for keywords usage rates. I decided not to spend so much per click. In my experience I prefer to be 4 or 5 on the page. I would not want to be number one. There are too many people who click an ad simply because it is at the top of the page. Not only can not have any interest in buying, but they may actually confuse the ad at the top as the site of the product you are looking for. I find that my conversion rates from lead customer is much higher in the bottom of page one. Other advertisers may have different strategies depending on their objectives in their AdWords pay per click campaign.
The content of the ad should really give the potential customer a good idea of what you are offering. Why get someone to click on your ad (you pay for it) only to discover that what you are offering is totally different from what they expected? This is a waste of money to do so.
