Eat In Ballasts
The fishing village of ballasts is must for anyone visiting eastern Asturias. Its steep streets, riddled houses of the seventeenth century, are now filming the scene of popular TV series Doctor Mateo, and ascend by them is a prelude to the wonderful views that we can see from above.
Eating in ballasts is an experience. The people probably deserves more than a gastronomic visit as there are a variety of restaurants from the home to haute cuisine, magnificent-based raw materials that obviously stands out among the fish.
This is a small contribution that we hope to expand or modify as appropriate:
Rte. The Rest (985850462): On the way down to the ballasts beach, as you enter the village coming from Colunga. Homemade food at affordable prices. As an enclosure the kids can move with little concern for parents. It has a good parking nearby.
Eutimio Restaurant (985850012): A reference in the kitchen LastriƱa lifetime. Excellent seafood at a reasonable price for 40 - 50 euros you can eat really well. Reservations are highly recommended if you enjoy the tables overlooking the sea.
Restaurant El Mirador (985850365): In the Mirador de San Roque, just for the spectacular views and deserves a visit, but you can eat very well in passing.
Pot Belly Bertin (985850445): With the chef Alberto Asensio head Pot Belly offers a great dining experience with a good average price. Alberto has worked with the "universe Adria" the Bulli and Benazuza and that seal of haute cuisine shines through in his letters.
